Ingredients
For making meatballs
  • Ground beef- ½ lb or ¼ kg
  • Garlic, grated- 2 cloves
  • Onion, chopped- ¼ cup
  • Red pepper, chopped- ¼ cup
  • Green pepper, chopped- ¼ cup
  • Ground cumin- 1 tsp
  • Paprika- ½ tsp
  • Dried Oregano- 1 tsp
  • Chili powder- ½ tsp (optional)
  • Salt- ¾ tsp
  • Breadcrumbs or cornflake crumbs- ½ cup
For making sauce
  • Tomato sauce- 400 ml
  • Ground cumin- ½ tsp
  • Paprika- ½ tsp
  • Dried oregano- ½ tsp
  • Salt- ½ tsp
  • Cilantro or parsley chopped- ¼ cup
Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for making the meatballs. Combine well.
  2. If you want to make chicken meatballs, add ground chicken instead of ground beef.
  3. Make into medium-sized balls.
  4. With this recipe, you'll be able to make 10 meatballs. You can double or triple the recipe accordingly.
  5. These meatballs can be prepared well in advance & kept in the refrigerator for a few days or in the freezer for a few weeks.
  6. To the stainless steel pot, add all the ingredients for making the sauce, combine well.
  7. Drop the meatballs into the sauce.
  8. Close the pot with the lid.
  9. Select pressure cook setting, set the time to 5 minutes at high pressure.
  10. After 5 minutes of pressure cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes & then do a quick pressure release.
  11. Open the lid.
  12. Meatballs will be perfectly cooked & the sauce will be flavorful & aromatic.
  13. Garnish with chopped cilantro or parsley.
  14. Enjoy with spaghetti, any kind of pasta or even with rice.
