Dump & go Instant Pot recipes, ready in just 5 minutes…

These are my favorite dishes that I make quite often. On a lazy day or busy day, these delicious dishes can be made effortlessly in the Instant Pot. All we have to do is dump all the ingredients & pressure cook for just 5 minutes.

Recipe 1 Thai Red Curry Chicken

Ingredients
Dump & Go Ingredients
  • Boneless chicken, diced- 1 breast or thighs
  • Onion, diced- 1
  • Carrot, diced- 1
  • Potatoes, diced- 1
  • Kaffir lime leaves- 3
  • Thai red curry paste- 3 tbsp
After pressure cooking
  • Fish sauce- 1 tsp
  • Coconut milk- 1 cup
  • Salt- ½ tsp
  • Cilantro, chopped- ¼ cup
Instructions
  1. Into the stainless steel pot, dump all the above-mentioned 'dump & go ingredients'.
  2. I use Thai Kitchen brand Thai red curry paste.
  3. Combine well.
  4. Close the pot with the lid.
  5. Select pressure cook, set time to 5 minutes, pressure should be high.
  6. After 5 minutes of pressure cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes & then do a quick pressure release.
  7. Open the lid, combine well.
  8. Add fish sauce & coconut milk, combine well.
  9. The pot is still hot, so don't have to cook in saute setting.
  10. Finally, garnish with chopped cilantro.
  11. Serve this aromatic curry with rice or rice noodles.

Recipe 2 Chicken Pasta

Ingredients
Dump & Go ingredients
  • Boneless chicken, diced- 1 breast or thighs
  • Onion, chopped- 1
  • Carrot, diced- 1
  • Green pepper, diced- 1
  • Paprika- 1 tsp
  • Dried oregano- 1 tsp
  • Freshly ground black pepper- ¼ tsp
  • Cumin powder- 1 tsp
  • Basil pesto- 2 tbsp (optional)
  • Tomato sauce- 2 cups
  • Water or chicken broth- 1 cup
  • Salt- ½ tsp (if required)
  • Egg Pasta or Macaroni Pasta- 3 cups
After pressure cooking
  • Cheese, grated- 1 cup
Instructions
  1. Into the stainless steel pot, add all the above-mentioned dump & go ingredients.
  2. Adding basil pesto is optional.
  3. You can add either egg pasta or macaroni pasta.
  4. Combine well.
  5. Close the pot with the lid.
  6. Select pressure cook, set time to 5 minutes, pressure should be high.
  7. After 5 minutes of pressure cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes & then do a quick pressure release.
  8. Open the lid, combine well.
  9. Add grated cheese, combine well.
  10. Serve into a bowl & enjoy this delicious & filling pasta chicken.

Recipe 3 Chicken Curry

  • Ginger-garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  • Curry leaves- 1 sprig (optional)
  • Tomatoes, chopped- 2
  • Kashmiri chili powder- 1 tsp
  • Regular chili powder- 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder- ¼ tsp
  • Cumin powder- 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder- 2 tsp
  • Garam masala- 1 tsp
  • Salt- 1 tsp
After pressure cooking
  • Cilantro, chopped- 2 tbsp
Instructions
  1. Into the stainless steel pot, add all the above-mentioned dump & go ingredients.
  2. Combine well.
  3. Close the pot with the lid.
  4. Select pressure cook, set time to 5 minutes, pressure should be high.
  5. After 5 minutes of pressure cooking, let the pressure release naturally for 5 minutes & then do a quick pressure release.
  6. Open the lid, combine well.
  7. Add chopped cilantro, combine well.
  8. If you prefer, you can add ½ cup coconut milk; will taste delicious.
  9. Enjoy this aromatic curry with basmati rice, roti, chapati, or any kind of flatbread.
