Ingredients
  • Mutton - ½ kg
  • Ginger + Garlic Paste - ½ tsp
  • Cardamom - 3
  • Cinnamon - small piece
  • Cloves - 3
  • Onion - 1
  • Potatoes - 2 cubed
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil
To grind
  • Coconut - ½ grated
  • Cloves - 3
  • Poppy seeds - ½ tsp
Marination
  • Shallot - 5 (ground)
  • Ginger + Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Curd beaten - 1 cup
  • Green chilies slit - 8
  • Salt
Instructions
  1. Marinate mutton in ginger + garlic paste, shallot paste, salt, ground coconut masala, curd and green chilies for one hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add cardamom, cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Then add onion and ginger + garlic paste.
  4. Add the marinated mutton and add necessary water for the gravy.
  5. Adjust salt.
  6. Add potatoes and allow to cook.
  7. Serve with ghee rice or parotta
