Ingredients
  • Mini Mason jars, 4 ounces
  • Prepared crumbs
  • Cheesecake filling
  • Fried dumplings or gulab jamuns
  • Pistachios, crushed
  • Sugar-rose syrup
Instructions
  1. Let's make mini gulab jamun cheesecake in mason jars.
  2. I've taken 4 oz mason jars.
  3. Add 3 tbsp crumbs mixed with melted butter to the bottom of the jars.
  4. Top with 3 tbsp cheesecake filling.
  5. Place 1 fried dumpling or gulab jamuns that are soaked in sugar syrup into the cheesecake filling.
  6. Cover the jar tightly with aluminum foil.
  7. I've pressure-cooked this in the Instant Pot.
  8. Add 1½ cups water to the stainless steel pot.
  9. Place a trivet into the pot.
  10. Place the mason jars on the trivet.
  11. Close with the Instant Pot lid.
  12. Select pressure cook, at high pressure for 15 minutes.
  13. After 15 minutes, let the pressure release naturally will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
  14. Open the lid, take the mason jars out of the pot.
  15. Let cool down & keep in the refrigerator for a few hours.
  16. Before serving, garnish with pistachios & drizzle some sugar-rose syrup.

How to bake in the oven
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 C.
  2. Add 2 inches of water to a baking tray, place the mason jars in the tray.
  3. Place the baking tray in the preheated oven on the middle rack.
  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cheesecake comes out clean.
