Roasted Brussel Sprouts with Almonds
- Brussel sprouts- 20
- Garlic, chopped- 2 cloves
- Thyme- 2 sprigs
- Rosemary- 2 sprigs
- Salt- ½ tsp
- Ground pepper- ½ tsp
- Lemon zest- zest of ½ lemon
- Red wine vinegar or Soy sauce- 2 tbsp
- Olive oil- 2 tbsp
- Other ingredients
- Almonds, halved- 8
- Parmesan cheese, grated- ½ cup
- Olive oil- 2 tbsp
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Combine brussel sprouts with the above mentioned ingredients to marinate.
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
- Grease with non-stick cooking spray.
- Spread the brussel sprouts evenly over the aluminum foil.
- Bake for 25 minutes. After 10 minutes of baking toss the brussel sprouts and bake again.
- After 25 minutes of baking, sprinkle parmesan cheese, almonds and olive oil over it and bake for another 5 minutes.
- Total baking time is 30 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and serve warm as a side dish.
