Asian Grilling Main Dish Steak

Asian Glazed Grilled Steak

Glazed, Grilled and Good…

It’s that time of the year when weather really rules most of my decision. It’s highly unpredictable and unreliable. You never know what is waiting for you, it could be sunny and bright or it could be rainy and gloomy. The transition from Summer to Fall is not a good time for someone like me who still hasn’t learned to enjoy the rainy evenings and the gloomy landscape.

Today we had yet another lousy weather and nothing seemed appealing to me. I had been writing and writing for the past few weeks. You guessed it wrong! It was not for my cook book, it was for my first year research report. Have I told you how I hate writing reports? Don’t even get me started on that. After a day long writing about scientific experiments, it feels really good to write about food, cooking and my thoughts.

While browsing through my picasa album on this lousy day, the picture of this Asian glazed grilled steak put a smile on my face. I thought now that you made me smile, I am going to write about you right away. Last Sunday, we had an unbelievably great day; weather wise. Seeing the clear sky and the shining Sun, we went for a motorcycle ride and on our way back did some meat shopping. I saw my hubby heading straight to the steak aisle and he grabbed a few of them. He said: lets grill and I replied: I am thrilled.

I made an asian glazed marinade for the steak, marinated it for an hour and grilled it to perfection. It was the best tasting steak we had this Summer.

  • Bake it for 30-35 minutes or according to how you want your steak to be.
