Garlic Parmesan Toasted Baguettes

Crispy and Aromatic baguettes…

I have only 17 hours left until my final exam. Obviously, I’ve been preparing from this morning and now I am exhausted. My brain is overloaded with Bio physical chemistry, if I read one more sentence it will explode without any mercy. Sitting idle at one place and focusing is not at all my style. Since I am in my office I am caged. When I am at my home, each and every nook of my house becomes my study place, I find it more relaxing when I roam around rather than sitting at one place. That’s how I studied ever since I was a kid. Back home, my favorite study place was the rooftop terrace. Lots of fresh air, greenery and openness, was the real boost and I had never felt bored. Well, the amazing part of taking this course was that, finally I got to meet the most inspiring and motivating professor. I just adored the way he taught, with so much passion and vigor, each class was just phenomenal. Indeed teaching is an art, long live prof!!!

I am on  a study break and so thought of sharing an easy breezy recipe with you all. Last weekend, I bought baguettes from a nearby pastry shop. Baguettes are long thin loaf of French bread. These are very common in France and is served along with lunch or dinner. The loaf is cut diagonally and are served with some real butter. You just have to smear the cut ends with butter and have it. Last time when I dined at a French restaurant, they had garlic roasted baguettes and it tasted very flavorful. I tried to recreate that in my kitchen. Well, I wasn’t disappointed with the outcome. The baguettes came out crispy, and the flavor from the garlic and parmesan was just incredible.
