Tender Coconut Milkshake - South Indian Drink
 
 
Serves: 2 glasses
Ingredients
  • Tender coconut, chopped 2 inch slice- ½ cup
  • Tender coconut water- 1 cup
  • Milk, chilled- ¾ cup
  • Sugar or honey- 1-2 tbsp
Instructions
  1. It's good to use fresh tender coconuts rather than frozen or canned ones.
  2. If you have the fresh tender coconut, first make a small hole on the top of the shell using a sharp knife.
  3. Pour the coconut water into a bowl, keep aside.
  4. Using a sharp knife break the coconut into halves.
  5. Using a sharp knife cut the coconut from the shell.
  6. The coconut would easily detach from the shell.
  7. Cut the coconut into small slices.
  8. In a blender, blend together the coconut slices, coconut water, milk and sugar or honey.
  9. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
Notes
Use only tender coconut and not the regular coconut.
Make sure the coconut has blended well.
You could adjust the amount of coconut water, milk, sugar according to your needs.
