Red Radish Soup Recipe
 
 
Ingredients
  • Radish, cut half- a bunch
  • Red lentil- 1 cup
  • Chicken Bouillon cube or veggie cube ( I used knorr) - ½ cube
  • Water- 2 cups
  • Chili powder- ½ tsp
  • Cumin powder- ½ tsp
  • Garam Masala- ¼ tsp
  • Thyme- 1 sprig
  • Ground pepper- ¼ tsp
  • Coconut milk- ½ cup
Instructions
  1. Heat a large soup pot over medium heat.
  2. Add cut radishes and washed red lentil into the pot, sprinkle Thyme over it.
  3. Add the chicken bouillon cube and water, let the cube dissolve in water.
  4. Cover the pot, cook the lentil and radishes well.
  5. When they are cooked well, add chili powder, cumin powder, garam masala and Ground pepper.
  6. Combine well and puree the mixture in a blender to a coarse constituency.
  7. Pour the pureed soup into the pot, cook for a while.
  8. Pour coconut milk and combine well.
  9. Taste and add salt if needed.
  10. Remove from the heat and serve in soup bowls.
