Coconut Cream Pie

Creamy coconut goodness filled pies, absolutely delicious…

This was the dessert I made for Thanksgiving and it was a hit. It has the right amount of creaminess and sweetness and an enormous amount of coconut deliciousness. I’d posted the recipe for making vanilla custard or pudding, the recipe for making coconut cream is similar to vanilla custard with the addition of coconut milk and toasted coconut.

The bite of nutty and crunchy toasted coconut flakes in the coconut cream filling was just amazing.
